This is more of a guide on how you can style it.
It’s winter coats people! And I know what you’re thinking, like “duh! There are only so many ways in which you can wear a winter coat, so what’s with “styling”?”
I’ve got news for you. Yes there happens to be something called styling winter jackets for men online and today we are looking at some of the pioneers of men’s fashion in the Hollywood and music industries.
Let’s call them, celebrity approved winter coats and jackets, and cool ways in which you can style them.
Here we go:
The Parka – This one may come as a close competition for the regular long length overcoats that men wear in the winters. While Parkas are more of an all-weather outfit, it has slowly but surely made its way into the men’s slim fit outwear category in winter wear. Well, if Mick says so, then we don’t have to take a second guess, right?
The Puffer – Even the best men’s bomber jackets have taken a more streamlined form this season. If you’re just headed out to walk your dog or for quick errands, you can simply wear it as such. Or you can also opt for the “pro look” which most celebs have apparently majored in. Since it is perfect for layering, you can wear it underneath a suit jacket. That way you get extra warmth and an added visual texture. You also get very stylish styles of slim puffers with Cashmere cuffs and everything. You have royalty wearing slim puffers this winter. What more do you want!
The Pea Coat – Yes, it is a military garment and yes it is hitting runways high and strong this season. It has kept sailors and naval officers warm and protected on both sides of the brutal Atlantic for over 150 years! So it has every reason in the world to make a good comeback. It is made of thick wool and it has a high collar. Talk about made for the winters! We have royalty again who caught on with the trend early on – The Duke of Windsor and the then Price Edward of Wales.
The Camel Coat – This is for people who want to make a bigger style statement than with ordinary Black, Navy or Grey overcoats. This time around, we are doing it a little different than the Italians. It is a different and refreshing color and it will create a very elegant contrast with any dark colored suit you wear underneath. As a matter of fact, it will go perfectly well with any casual clothing as well. After all, who said you can’t wear autumn or spring colors in winter?
Here’s Clive Owen sporting a sexy camel coat.
