Nas Launches New Streetwear Line And It Is Everything We Want!

Street Fashion With Men’s suits; Kendall Jenner Shows Us How It’s Done

Remember how Rocawear literally broke the internet when it was launched a few years back in 1999?

Yeah, how would it not have become such a huge sell-out, right?
I mean it is created by our very own Jay-Z with his partner in Roc-A-Fella Records Damon Dash. Plus it was one of those iconic collabs where the world of hip hop clothing stores online met fashion, and since then Rocawear has been providing top notch fashion for street savvy customers world over.
So you see how hip-hop artists turning to fashion has long been a thing.

Guess who else is joining the rapper-turned-designer bandwagon.

It is none other than American rapper and record producer and now entrepreneur, Nas aka Nasir Bin Olu Dara Jones (did you know that was his full name?)

Nas has teamed up with Jace Lipstein of Grungy Gentleman to create a 33 piece streetwear collection called HSTRY! And from the initial looks of it, it is most likely to become an internet breaking phenomenon yet again!

Some striking highlights of the collection include flannel shirts for men which have come to be a mandatory piece in hip-hop fashion, leather outerwear – a signature style item in streetwear, baseball caps and Ski masks.
Interestingly, the entire collection carries very minimal branding on all of its pieces. As pointed out by Stylelite, it makes for maximum street cred.

About his collection Nas said, “Clothes represent happiness. They’re our protection – even a reflection of what’s in our heads, our thoughts and ideas. Hence the phrase, ‘wearing our hearts on our sleeves’. With HSTRY, I’m embracing our greatest moments recorded in time in the form of premium street fashion.”

Well, we couldn’t agree more could we?

I’m pretty sure at least 50% of the men in the world already have their eyes on Nas’s collection by now!

The prices of the various pieces in the collection have not yet been finalized as of now. However, some items have been tagged in a range, anywhere between $85 to $1,800.

The entire collection will be available on Grungy Gentleman from the 1st of August.

I guess the only thing left to do now is to wait. Right boys?

In the meantime, here are some highlights from the collection.
